Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked

questions

How do I get the keys?

There’s a keybox near the building entrance. I’ll send you the exact code and location before your arrival.

What’s the nearest metro station?

Victoria is the closest, less than a 10-minute walk. It’s a direct route down Patission Avenue and connects you quickly to the center.

Where’s the nearest grocery store?

There’s an OK Market just around the corner for basics. Open daily, 08:00–23:00.

Is the tap water safe to drink?

Yes, totally safe.

Can I leave my leftovers in the fridge?

Yes, feel free to leave anything and we’ll take care of it after you check out.

What cooking equipment is in the kitchen?

It has everything you need for everyday meals: stovetop, pots, pans and basic tools. There’s also olive oil, salt, pepper and a few other things to get you started.

Is the building secure?

Yes, there are two locked doors (building and apartment).

Is it safe to walk at night?

Yes, it’s generally safe and the streets are busy and well-lit. That said, it’s a bit gritty around the edges in the typical Athens way. It’s not as polished as the tourist center, it’s an older, multicultural neighborhood - so just use the same kind of awareness you would in any big city, like Paris or Rome.

Are there any areas I should avoid?

West of the apartment (toward Attiki metro), there’s not much of interest and it can feel a bit rough at night - more industrial, less active. That includes spots like Omonia, Metaxourgio, Larissa Station, Attiki metro, and Agios Panteleimon.

Rule of thumb: walk east toward Kypseli or south along Patission or Alexandras. Or just grab a taxi, most rides cost around €5–8.

What should I do if something breaks or doesn’t work?

Just message me. Things rarely go wrong, but if they do, I’ll do my best to fix it fast.
